Through tireless dedication to her clients, Ms. Postil has developed a reputation as a fierce and commanding presence in the courtroom over her distinguished legal career. She has tried 43 jury trials that reached a verdict, tackling some of the most complex and challenging cases involving homicide, vehicular manslaughter, major fraud, sexual assault, and child abuse. Her meticulous trial preparation has led to repeated success securing favorable outcomes for her clients.
With close to two decades of experience, Ms. Postil brings sharp instincts, intellectual rigor, and proven trial advocacy skills to every case she takes on. She also has extensive experience handling writs, appeals, and parole hearings, and has argued successfully before the Fourth District Court of Appeal.
In addition to her trial and appellate experience, Ms. Postil is dedicated to empowering students impacted by trauma. She has served as an adjunct faculty member in the Schools of Education and Human Development, founded a cultural arts nonprofit and developed a curriculum implemented in schools, communities and correctional facilities focused on social-emotional learning.
After completing her undergraduate studies in Political Science at UCLA in 1998, competing on the Speech & Debate Team, Ms. Postil received her JD from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. She was a national finalist in the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition, top oralist on the Scott Moot Court Honors Board and competed on the Byrne Mock Trial Team.
