Taking a tour bus can be a great way to see the country and meet new people. It can be a wonderful thing to visit new places and do things you have never done before. When you board a tour bus, however, you reasonably expect to be in good hands. You expect that the driver has a solid safety record and that the bus has been properly maintained. The last thing you would expect to happen when taking a tour bus is for there to be some type of accident that would cause serious injuries or death. Unfortunately, our expectations are not always met.

Since a tour bus carrying 39 passengers crashed in San Bernadino County last year, resulting in injuries and fatalities, a lawsuit was filed. However, our firm filed another lawsuit on behalf of seven victims from San Diego. For the loved ones of the victims who died and those who suffered serious injuries, this lawsuit is not about money but about finding out why this tragic accident happened. Although we know that the company was shut down due to problems with the buses and drivers, there are still questions that remain unanswered.

For many victims and their families, lawsuits have little to do with the monetary number attached to them. Money cannot bring back loved ones or take back permanent injuries that victims incurred. However, a lawsuit can help relieve the financial burden than many accident victims face from things like medical bills, funeral costs and lost wages. We hope that this lawsuit will help the victims and their families get the answers they deserve.

This lawsuit can also serve as an example to others who have suffered a serious injury or lost a loved one in a mass transit accident. If a bus company or driver was negligent in some way, many victims find it worthwhile to file a personal injury lawsuit. Not only can a lawsuit lead to compensation for damages incurred in an accident, but it can get victims the answers they need to find some closure after a terrible accident.
