Information Regarding the Coastal Fire in Laguna Niguel
In May 2022, the Coastal Fire tore through Laguna Niguel, destroying 20 homes, damaging 11 others, and forcing approximately 900 residents to evacuate. The fire began in Aliso Woods Canyon, burned more than 200 acres, and caused widespread devastation throughout the community.
