Train kills young man but reason remains unknown
When a person dies after being hit by a car, truck or other vehicle, loved ones typically rally around each other and struggle through the senselessness and the suddenness. They try to remember the good times and find a way to smile again. But there is not a chance for closure when questions remain unanswered and investigators bear that in mind as they try to determine causation and piece together what happened that lead up to the accident.
This is likely to be the reality to come for the family of a man who was tragically struck, and subsequently killed, by a train in Camarillo recently. Witness testimony may play a key role in providing answers for the family of the man whose identity as of yet remains undisclosed. The man appeared to be in his twenties, sources say. Foul play is not suspected and the railroad gates appeared to be operational.
Train accidents are far less common than other motor vehicle accidents but when a train and a pedestrian cross paths it is almost always catastrophic for the pedestrian. If train signals malfunctioned or the gates did not work, if the train did not signal by horn, all of these could be reasons an unsuspecting person on foot might accidentally step into harm's way.
If you or someone you know was injured or lost their life due to a train that did not employ proper safety techniques, you may not know where to turn for relief from your new reality. Medical expenses and possibly funeral expenses can add up quickly and become an overwhelming burden to bear in light of the tragedy and intense grief. This is the time when finding an attorney who is compassionate and diligent may be a needed relief. An attorney who specializes in personal injury, wrongful death and train accidents should have the know-how to pursue any and all damages you are owed and that can make your emotional and financial recovery a little lighter of a load to carry.
