Haera Manoukian

Ms. Manoukian is recognized for her strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills. She received an Academic Achievement Award for obtaining the highest grade in her class on her scholarly writing project. Her project involves a comparative study that identifies and analyzes the lack of safeguards in certain legislation and its effect on the legal rights of a certain class of individuals. In recognition of her success, Ms. Manoukian also received the Joel Zuckerman Memorial Award for her excellence in the study of Comparative Law. She also worked as a Research Assistant for the Director of International Legal Studies at her law school.

In addition to her academic achievements, Ms. Manoukian has considerable experience working as a devoted advocate for others. She interned for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section while in law school. After graduating, she worked for the United Nations as a Consultant. Here she advocated for the legal rights of trafficked victims by serving as a legal researcher and a contributor to the Section’s online legislative database. Prior to Ms. Manoukian’s involvement with the United Nations, she interned for and then later worked as a Law Clerk at the Jewish Family Service, Refugee and Immigration Services Program, providing legal aid to refugees. Ms. Manoukian has a strong work ethic and is passionate about helping others. She is committed to utilizing her strengths and experience to advocate for the firm’s clients.

Ms. Manoukian enjoys meeting people from all walks of life and learning different languages. She speaks fluent Armenian. Outside the office, Ms. Manoukian enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering, and participating in outdoor activities.
